We are happy to announce the successful participation of this year’s FAASA Travel Team Players in the 2024 NABA InterCity Basketball Tournament held in Maryland DC. Although the Competing Detroit FAASA Travel Teams did not come home with the win, they came home with a wealth of knowledge and valuable experiences of what to expect in participating in National and International tournaments like the NABA InterCity games.
As the Coach of the winning 2008 NABA Tournament, I am well informed of the knowledge and skills needed for players to succeed in winning Tournaments like the NABA, however, for many first-time NABA participants, the actual experience is more valuable to their follow-up win. For this reason, I am confident that our 2025 FAASA Travel Team Players will be more than ready for their next competition as they use this experience to regroup and refocus their efforts for the greatest comeback at the next NABA Games or the National or International tournaments, they compete in.
We are so very proud of the 2024 FAASA Travel Team Players. We look forward to working with them again in our upcoming 2025 Spring League Games geared to prepare our players for national or international competitions.

The 2024 NABA INTERCITY is held at the: Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland USA.
Please contact your coach to see if you are qualified to participate in the NABA 2024 Tournament or a FAASA Administrator at (313)-387-6222 to complete your registration for NABA Basketball 2024. Registration is required for new players as well as returning players.
